Erasmus+ Projects
At St. Francis de Sales Institute, the educational arm of Don Bosco Foundation Malta, European cooperation is an important part of our commitment to learning, youth development and professional growth. Through Erasmus+ projects, particularly Key Action 2 (KA2), Don Bosco Foundation works with organisations across Europe to exchange knowledge, develop innovative educational approaches and respond to the challenges faced by young people and those who support them.
Our European work creates opportunities to explore topics such as safeguarding, mental health, inclusion, youth participation and non-formal education, while connecting local practice with wider European perspectives. Through international projects, training activities, research and collaboration with partner organisations, the Institute brings these experiences into its educational and training work, supporting professionals and young people in developing new skills and approaches.
Don Bosco Foundation is also involved in the European Solidarity Corps (ESC), welcoming international volunteers who contribute to educational, social and youth-focused activities in Malta. Through Erasmus+, volunteering and international partnerships, we connect the Salesian educational mission with a wider European community, creating opportunities to learn, collaborate and make a meaningful difference.
